evolution. Blunt tips have replaced those sharp points
around the quick-dry polyester canopy (and also spread
the pressure so they don't tear away like traditional
umbrellas). A system of floating ribs increases strength
in a windstorm and resists ripping fabric, and the radial
tension system keeps it taut, so water wicks away and
never pools. It's a lightweight and sturdy alternative
