The Brooklyn Museum will be the first museum
in the United States to focus an entire exhibit on the
late works of Andy Warhol. Andy Warhol: The Last Decade
will survey nearly 50 pieces and take viewers through
the artist’s final evolution as a master of visual
art. During his last decade (1977–1987), it is evident
that Warhol had the same vitality, energy, and spirit
of innovation that he had for the majority of his career.
It was his most prolific time, producing images on a much
larger scale than at any other point in his 40-year career.
Peruse the collection that features well-known works like
his The Last Supper, Eggs, and Double $5/Weightlifter.
