We can't deny that dressing up for Christmas is a tradition that comes second to dressing up for Halloween. In New York this past weekend, I donned my Mrs. Claus costume for the SantaCon pub crawl, where fellow boozers were dressed as nutcrackers, Jesus, elves, presents, Christmas Trees, Menorahs, and there was even an appearance by the Easter Bunny. In Boston, people wore their best swimwear for the Santa Speedo Run. In Italy, on January 6 (the Epiphany), Venetian men will take to the Grand Canal in Venice, for the Regatta della Befana. Dressed in their best Befane costumes, they will race to the Rialto Bridge, standing up as they row Venetian style. So what are you going to dress up as next Christmas?
