Public Option Annie: Protesters Perform Guerilla Musical at Healthcare Conference

Singing protesters interrupted Republican Bill McInturff's presentation at the America's Health Insurance Plans State Issues Conference in Washington on Friday. Dressed in business suits the group, Billionaires for Wealthcare, infiltrated the meeting and sang about the public option to the tune of The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow from Annie. Although McInturff quipped that he thought the song sounded very good, others present at the meeting were not amused. The group was escorted out by security, but their video is widely circulating on the Internet. Maybe the LGBT community should use tactics like these to promote same-sex marriage.
