Evangelical Lutheran Church in Minneapolis Supports Gay Marriage

With an amendment up for vote in Minnesota that would effectively define marriage as a union between one man and one woman, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Minneapolis has approved a resolution opposing the amendment. One hundred sixty churches (which includes 700 voting members) debated the resolution on Friday night and after hearing testimonials from the voting members, the leaders ultimately decided not to support such an amendment.
