NYC Cocktail Party Benefitting Homeless Gay Youth

February 6th, 2012 Robert

If you want to help make the world a better place for LGBT kids, here’s a great opportunity. Trinity Place Shelter invites you to a cocktail party featuring a silent auction, as well as a special appearance by artist Rolf Koppel and his spouse,
collaborator and model, Will Johnson. Join us as we celebrate the photography of Rolf Koppel on exhibit, and enjoy an evening of hope and commitment to benefit the lives of homeless LGBTQ youth and young adults in our community. All proceeds go toward Trinity Place Shelter’s Building With Pride capital campaign. The event will take place at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art on February 16th from 6 – 8 P.M.

Trinity Place Shelter was established in June 2006 to help our LGBTQ residents safely transition out of the shelter system and grow into independent, positive and productive adults. Trinity Place provides a unique home and family-like environment where our LGBTQ youth receive the respect, individualized care and basic services so often denied them.
