Leave it to the girls of The View, mostly Barbara Walters, to get former Vice President Dick Cheney and Lynne Cheney to open up about their lesbian daughter and voice support for same-sex marriage. After Walters asked Lynne Cheney about her thoughts on same-sex marriage, Lynne talked about her daughter Mary and her partner, Heather, “I think that whatever Mary and Heather decide to do is up to Mary and Heather.” Walters followed with “So, you’re not against gay marriage?” Lynn replied: “No.” Then Joy Behar questioned Dick: “Do you agree with that?” “Yes,” Cheney replied.
