Continental Eliminates In-Flight Snacks

How quickly Continental has gone from free meals (like a sandwich) to nothing. Just last year the company boasted that they were still serving meals in coach, but that ended in October. Now, the airline announced that it would also stop handing out snacks. As of March 1, the company ended the distribution of snacks (yes, that means no more measly pretzel packs), let’s hope that the one complimentary Diet Coke will hold you over for that domestic/North American jaunt. The move, according to Jaunted, is most likely to align the company with United, who has been snack-less for as long as we can remember.
