The government of Singapore is up in arms over their national men’s water polo team for designing “inappropriate” swim trunks. The team was competing at the Asian Games held in Guangzhou China when the government first took note of their crescent moon shaped bulge. The country’s Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts which governs the use of the flag never approved the use of the flag.

“We would have told them that their design is inappropriate, as we want elements of the flag to be treated with dignity,” an official said. [ABS]

What do you think, overreacting for overcompensating?
