festival embracing shorter works of art. Short film,

de Curtas-Metragens celebrates those smaller works

LIMA
Each and every August 30th, the citizens of Lima
honor Santa Rosa de Lima (Saint Rose of Lima), the
patron saint of Peru. The 17th-century woman, whose
real name was Isabel Flores de Oliva, devoted her life
to tending to the ill. Although she was a devout laywoman,
Santa Rosa belonged to no specific religious order.
Pilgrims come to the city to throw personal letters
and wishes into a special wishing well and visit the
