stop by the Age Melbourne Writer’s Festival.
First launched in 1986, the event aims to spark dialogue
among authors, as well as emphasize the importance of

Experience myths firsthand at the Mt. Hagen
Show. Each year, members from Papua New Guinea’s
700 tribes congregate in Mt. Hagen to re-enact their
own legends. There they captivate guests with powerful
performances filled with colorful costumes, entrancing
rhythms, and dancers whirling to the sound of beating
drums. The show returns August 14–15 with a new
lineup of acts highlighting New Guinea’s cultural
