On June 24, 2008 PASSPORT Magazine and W
New York -- Union Square celebrated New York City Pride
with their annual Pride 365 party. The event, sponsored by Destination
Quebec and Travelocity,
welcomed more than 600 PASSPORT readers and Lambda Legal members.
A Fund-raiser for Lambda
Legal, the party also commemorated Lambda's Supreme Court
victory 5 years ago in the Lawrence V Texas ruling which knocked
down remaining sodomy laws across the USA and advanced equal
rights for the GLBT community to a new level.
Guests enjoyed savory appetizers from Todd
English's Olives restaurant and magical liquid libations courtesy
of Nuvo sparkling
liqueur and Diageo.
