On Tuesday, July 5, 2008, 200 PASSPORT readers
and supporters of Joining Hearts turned out for the first
annual PASSPORT To Pride Celebration at W Hotel - Atlanta
Midtown. The event, co-sponsored by Orbitz, was a benefit
for Joining Hearts and raised more than $2,200 for them.
For two hours guests enjoyed delicious specialty
cocktails courtesy of X-Rated Fusions and a mix of savory
appetizers. Celebrants purchased raffle tickets to win a wide
assortment of prizes ranging from the latest Adam Rafael photo
book “Room Service” to a vacation package courtesy
of Orbitz and W Hotels.
