"Performing outdoors against a backdrop of the
Great South Bay, The Fire Island Dance Festival returns to Fire Island Pines
for a trio of outdoor party/performances on Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July
20, 2008. Now in its 14th year, FIDF is produced by and benefits Dancers Responding
to AIDS (DRA), a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Tony (and Emmy
and Oscar and Grammy) winner, Whoopi Goldberg returns as Emcee for the Saturday
evening performances.
